Message from the Conference Chair

Dear colleagues,

We invite you to join us in beautiful San Francisco, California for the 1st International Conference on Transplantomics and Biomarkers in Organ Transplant. The selected dates are February 25-26, 2010.

As host of the meeting, The Transplantation Society (TTS) has called for this first-ever “Transplantomics” meeting in order to establish a meeting platform that brings together disciplines in transplantation research in genomics, proteomics, informatics and clinical transplantation with the goal to create more dialogue and collaboration across disciplines and researchers.

This meeting is a unique forum for cross-talk between researchers and clinicians, providing critical updates on the current status of the field with regards to biomarkers and molecular mechanisms for different categories of organ injury and health.

We will feature internationally-renowned experts in Plenary sessions ranging from Genomics, Proteomics and Informatics to Immunology and Systems Pathobiology. Poster presentations and round-table discussions will highlight evolving technologies and new translational applications of high throughput technologies to clinical practice in transplantation. The main conference will be followed-up with an expert panel wrap-up meeting with the production of a consensus document highlighting the evolution of high-throughput research in the field of organ transplantation.
